It’s a choice we don’t think we could make, but Friends star Matthew Perry has called it and decided his favourite Chandler one-liner from the show. Ever.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Matthew not only admitted that he ‘misses’ the show (us too), he also revealed his favourite example of Chandler’s quick wit.
Hailing from ‘The One With Ross’s New Girlfriend’, Matthew’s choice is a good ‘un.
In an exchange with Joey over where to find a good tailor, Joey says: “Why don’t you go see Frank? My family’s been going to him forever, he did my first suit when I was 15.
“No, wait, 16. No, excuse me, 15… Alright, when was 1990?”
So Chandler reminds Joey: “You have to stop the Q-Tip when there’s resistance.”
Ah, Chandler Bing. Could you BE any more sarcastic?
Although we always love revisiting old Friends moments, it’s pretty strange watching Matt LeBlanc as Joey now that we know who almost played the over-eating womaniser.
Casting director Ellie Janner recently revealed that none other than Vince Vaughn nearly nabbed the role, but despite the Wedding Crashers actor being ‘handsome, tall and a good actor’, he wasn’t quite the right fit.
Sorry, Vince – no-one can utter the immortal ‘How you doin’?’ line better than Matt.
